Nowadays, it’s not unusual to see a stray dog suffering by itself on the street these days. It is much more tragic when you find a gorgeous white puppy that is not just a stray but also chained to a pole beside the road.
This was the destiny of a young white Husky found on the streets of Santa Monica, California. Not only was he constantly bound, but he was also subjected to daily harassment and brutal acts by homeless individuals.
However, this courageous six-month-old dog kept a smile on his face and held onto the hope that a kind person would someday come to his rescue and save him.
Saved From The Streets
One day, Buckley, a white husky, finally had a good morning. Just when Buckley was at his lowest point, a volunteer from the area happened to walk by.
She was astounded to see such a lovely person suffering for so long on the street, bound to a fence.
She didn’t hesitate to act; she got to work right away, and before long, this puppy was in the capable care of Love Leo Rescue. People from the rescue were astounded by this dog’s tenacity and happy disposition after meeting him, in spite of everything.
Sasha Abelson, director of Love Leo Rescue, told The Dodo, “Buckley is an exceptional dog.” “He didn’t let his past experiences change his lovely personality; he is well-balanced and loving.”
To ensure that all of his wounds healed as quickly as possible, they took care to show him a lot of affection. He gave back his incredibly contagious cheerful energy, making all of the center’s staff and volunteers grin.
Regretfully for them, they were able to locate Buckley in a foster home really quickly, so he didn’t remain long at the rescue facility.
Now, at last, his new story could start.
Road To A Novel Life
After learning about Buckley’s tragic past from the streets of Santa Monica, California, a woman called Angela made the heartbreaking decision to adopt him as a foster child.
The two hit it off right away, and Buckley adjusted to his new life with his foster family quite fast. This new world was like a tiny heaven for him when he could maintain a grin on his face at such trying times.
Abelson described Buckley as a “typical, happy-go-lucky husky.” He enjoys picking up new abilities and playing with his dog buddies. He enjoys spending time with his humans and going on walks. He truly is the ideal family canine
Buckley also did something kind for his foster mother. He turned out to be the genuine cure for her broken heart.
“Buckley is a fantastic puppy! He is our foster child and has been instrumental in my PTSD healing. He needs to stay busy and have a schedule, which turns out to be something I also need, Angela stated on Instagram.
This lovely dog, however, is still waiting for his permanent home, where he will at last find the most happiness.
Abelson stated that Buckley would like to move into an active family, especially one with another energetic, well-mannered dog. “We believe it would be amazing for him to have a dog, brother, or sister.”
Considering the genuine inner and exterior beauty that he exudes, this dog should not have to wait much longer to have his happily ever after.
